I was almost able to tolerate over twenty unsolicited email messages a day. Over the months, the mortgage refinance offers, the credit cleanups, the chain letters, the banking schemes from Nigeria and the Ivory Coast, the Viagra-by-internet, the toner sales became overwhelming, just deleting them a chore. Then came the blatant porn, the penis and breast enhancements, and now, the viruses - two or three a day. I would love to have an "open" mailbox, but I just can't take it anymore. I have several levels of email filtering and virus protection in place, and, don't use the email links without removing "nospam" from the address.
